This site is like a palatial mansion holding within its rooms and grounds a lifetime of knowledge and experiences within it. It is a take it or leave it place to be. Each room hold reviews upon different objects and subjects. You may enter the Library to find there reviews about different books read and appreciated. In the Magazine Rack there are a razzmataz of reviews about various articles found in a great array of magazines, newspapers, hebdomadaires etc. In the realm of the TV/Cinema room reviews about Programs and Movies seen can be found.

 There is an important aspect to be considered on this site, everything being talked about must be experienced. If it is a book, a film, or any product, your reviewing words have only values if you truly came into contact with the item in question. If you judge a book by its cover, not willing to open it and add your opinion upon it based on your mate's opinion of it or the general earsay or, even worse, your assumption, then you can wipe your backside with your review for it belongs to the toilet but not to this site. This Reviews site is not for a trolley of Trolls. Honesty guaranty a valid review. 

Reviewing or being critical of anything is an art. The approach of it should be the one of construction rather than destruction. When one has spent so much time and efforts into producing something, respect should already be there for who are you to judge something? Who can place their experiences above the one of anyone else? As a matter of ego, as a reviewer you must always have the dignity to recognise one thing, which is this, in my humble opinion, this is your humbleness as a human being. Be humble to receive the efforts of another in front of your eyes, palate, ears, touch, nose to your appreciation. You are being the recepient of something special, a gift of humanity itself in motion, the creation of someone. Hence respect should be your initial standpoint. 

From that open mind then you can upon your personal factors and circumstances relate to whatever new experience is presented to you. Lets take the exemple of a new perfume, a new scent, your nose will approach it with its experience of other scents and associate it with or compare it with them in order to explain the new scent. Then you will be able to describe the perfume as a musky one or else. Your mind will do the referencing for you and your memory will register the new experience. Then you can produce your views.

A review here is not just saying for the sake of saying, no, it has an importance of logging or cataloguing. It registers the fact or artefact, object or subject, putting them in their perspective and the timeline when reviewed. Hence a review becomes the receptacle, the memento of one's experience of something. It can have a crucial aspect worth all consideration. It is  recording memory. Therefore it can become a point of reference not only for the person creating the review for their own self but also for others. 

Validity, ingenuity, honesty, regards, respect, humility, open mind are key to a review, but also the more scientific bases of time, place, context, who, why and how are important factors to take into consideration. The later are giving more gravitas to the entry as per say. 

Personally I do regard reviews as important for words simply do matter. They are not simply a way to convey feelings and emotions. They are also there to carry the weight of meaning and purpose. It can be a simple matter of 'let it be known'. This is the entry point of a review.
